Statement of Need

This year's course will cover a wide range of topics relevant to practicing providers. The course involves cutting edge information on various subspecialties of Pediatrics including Endocrinology, Asthma, Surgery, Nephrology, Infectious Diseases, Psychiatry and Rheumatology.

Each topic has been selected based on recommendations from previous attendees as being useful and important topics for their practice.

Audience

This conference would be ideal for all primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and others that are involved in the care and treatment of pediatric patients.

Educational Objectives

Following this conference, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss issues in current pediatric practice that are new or controversial
  • Apply current management options for issues in pediatric practice that relate to pediatric rheumatology, endocrinology, asthma, neonatology and asthma
  • Outline the role of research in providing advances in clinical practice
  • Discuss unique clinical cases with experts

Accreditation

  • AMA Category 1 credits: 13.25
  • American Academy of Family Physicians Prescribed credits: Application has been filed
  • A Statement of Attendance will be provided to other health care professionals for requesting credit from their appropriate accrediting organizations or state boards.

Cancellation Policy

In the event you need to cancel your registration, the registration fee, less a $50 administrative fee, will be refunded if you notify us by 4:30 p.m. Central Time on May 22, 2009. No refunds will be made after this date.

Pre-Registration Deadline

Pre-registration for this conference ends at 4:30 p.m. Central Time on June 2, 2009. After this time we will take registrations on-site.
